Ambulance Service

As a UHS service to students, faculty and staff, and visitors to University Park campus, the University Ambulance Service (UAS) provides emergency care on campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year except during the winter break. [more information]

Automated External Defibrillators (AED)

According to the Penn State Safety Policy SY22, any Penn State department or administrative unit planning to purchase, use or maintain an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) must submit a "Plan to Use an AED" to the Office of Emergency Medical Services. [more information]

EMS Training Opportunities

EMS courses are available for credit to Penn State students and in a non-credit format for individuals not associated with Penn State. [more information]

EMS for Special Events

The Office of Emergency Medical Services in University Health Services provides pre-hospital emergency services at events drawing an anticipated number of participants/attendees/visitors at all University venues (and University-sponsored events drawing people at non-University venues) [more information]
