Physical Therapy

University Health Services Physical Therapy (PT) is dedicated to serving students with neuromusculoskeletal injuries. Our goal is to facilitate recovery to the patient's desired level of activity.

The PT volunteer and internship programs offer opportunities for students who are interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy or other health-related fields.

Training for PT volunteers and interns takes place at the beginning of each semester. Training includes administrative and infection control orientation, as well as orientation specific to the Physical Therapy Department.

Physical Therapy Volunteers

Students interested in becoming a Physical Therapy volunteer can apply online. Applications are accepted during the times specified below.

Applications for a desired semester that are submitted outside of the respective deadline window, will not be considered for any semester; applicants will need to reapply.

There is a separate application for Kines 395B and 495B internship opportunities. To apply for one of these internships, please visit room 101 in the Student Health Center on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 1 and 5 p.m.
