SES provides hand-on, interactive, customized, fun and energetic peer-led experiential learning leadership development activities that are specifically designed to focus on a variety of desired outcomes, including effective communication skills, enhanced group dynamics, navigating conflict, and reaching desired goals through consensus building. SES provides interactive peer-led, informational presentations that are perfect for the classroom! SES presentations highlight the importance of campus involvement and becoming civically engaged. Presentations are more structured than workshops but flexible enough to meet eh desired outcomes of the specific requester. Handouts and give-a-ways are included with each presentation. SES offers service consultations are one on one, personalized appointments, structured to help students find and participate in service/volunteer opportunities. The goal of a consultation is to help a potential volunteer sort through the many service opportunities available throughout Penn State and the local State College community. Consultations are given by members of Students Engaging Students who are trained to help their peers find service opportunities that match both their personal interests and special needs.
