Starting a new student organization
If you are unable to find a student organization to join you are more than welcome to start one of your own! Come to the Office of Student Activities and one our staff members can assist you with the process. Becoming a recognized student organization comes with many rights and privileges include but are not limited to:
Use of the The Pennsylvania State University name
Free web space

Space at the Involvement Fair
Rights to request student activities fundsThe recognition process includes filling out the Intent to Organize form, which can only be found in the Office of Student Activities, and filling out the Information Packet. The Information Packet outlines the five requirements of recognition (Intent to Organize form, Officer Report form, Advisor Approval form, a Constitution, a membership list, and attend a New Student Organization Orientation).
