Our Infrastructure Team provides the enterprise architecture and the inter-connectivity of all SAIT resources. They are also responsible for the security and privacy of all data that flows across the our networks and are responsible for adhering to university-wide and division-specific policies and procedures as well as various standards imposed by industries and government (HIPAA, FERPA, PCI-DSS, etc.).
The Networking and Infrastructure team is responsible for:
- Systems Administration
- Security management
- Network connectivity and domain administration
- Server management (Physical and Virtual)
- e Mail and Calendar management
- Asset Management
- Workstation (desktops & Laptops) management
- Account Management
- Shared Resources (Drives, Folders, Calendars or Mailboxes)
- Secure Remote Access
- Data Backups and Restorations
- Network installation and support
- Network libraries
