Student organizations are provided specific services designed to support their basic computing needs. The following services are available:
- Penn State Web Space
- This service is available to all recognized Penn State student organizations. The space can be open for basic Web publishing under tools like Dreamweaver. Another new option is to use the Penn State Blogs platform.
- Web-Team Coordinators can administer who can edit and increase the quota by logging into the Clubs Administration site.
- Our office provides basic troubleshooting for University Park clubs. Contact the service desk at FP-HelpDesk@sa.psu.edu for assistance.
- All students can find online support at the ITS Knowledge Base.
- If you are a student at a campus other than University, check your local Student Activities office to see if your campus has this service.
- ANGEL for Clubs
- This service provides a permanent group in ANGEL that includes features unavailable to other ANGEL groups. The features include:
- view your ASA account
- submit your events to the University public events calendar
- reserve meeting rooms in the HUB
- Contact our Service Desk to gain access if your Club is interested.
- This service provides a permanent group in ANGEL that includes features unavailable to other ANGEL groups. The features include:
- Student Elections and Voting
- This service is available for running Student Government on-line elections. Past elections include UPUA, GSA, the Campus SGA's. Homecoming King & Queen, and the Senior Class Gift.
- Students and staff can request an election by filling out the electronic form. A self-running demonstration will show you how ballots are created and how the voting occurs.
- This service is unique because it is tailored to Penn State. For example, all voting requires the student to authenticate prior to voting to check their status. Also, the ballot can restrict voting based on college enrolled, campus enrolled, residence hall status and whether the student is an undergrad or graduate student.
- Student Organization computers in the HUB-Robeson Center
- Student organizations with office space in the HUB-Robeson Center are part of ITS' Cooperative Lab Management program. Student Affairs IT (SAIT) provides direct support for the HUB's CLM installed computers and any related problems. Contact SAIT here.
