LGBTA Leadership Retreat Info
The LGBTA Leadership Retreat is an annual program put on by the staff of the LGBTA Student Resource Center. This weekend long retreat helps facilitate growth among current and aspiring leaders within the Penn State community. With a combination of team- and self-awarenes- building activities, communication, conflict resolution, and diversity-related discussions, participants leave with new and improved leadership skills to bring back to campus.
2011 Leadership Retreat
The 2011 Leadership Retreat is scheduled for October 21 through October 23. Participants must fill out a registration form to apply to be a part of the retreat. Participants must also submit a $20 deposit which will be returned in full before they leave the Leadership Retreat. Please submit your deposit in cash, check, or money order to: 101 Boucke Building, University Park, 16802.
Staff of the LGBTA Center will select 30 participants for the retreat. If you have attended the Leadership Retreat in the past, we ask that you not sign up again without asking staff for permission. Consideration will be given to past attendees based on extenuating circumstances.

In the event of an emergency, students have one week prior to the Leadership Retreat to inform staff of their inability to attend the retreat. Providing notice allows the a refund of the $20 deposit.
