This confidential program is designed to serve Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, or Questioning Penn State students. Trained mentors offer support in developing a postive LGBTQ identity and connecting to the LGBTQ community.

Interested in being a Mentee?

Are you looking for accurate information about the LGBT community and what it means to be LGBTQ? Would like help navigating life at Penn State as a person who is LGBTQ?

The LGBTA Student Resource Center has a Mentorship Program that pairs students who are coming out and exploring an identity as a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning individual with trained graduate students who are knowledgeable and self-accepting of their LGBT identity.

Would you like to give back to the LGBT community? Would you like to help someone navigate life at Penn State as a person who is LGBTQ?

We are looking for graduate students who identify as LGBT to be mentors for LGBT mentees. The LGBTA Student Resource Center has a Mentorship Program that pairs students who are coming out and exploring an identity as a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender individual with trained graduate students who are knowledgeable and self-accepting of their LGBT identity. Both initial and continuing training is provided.
