Problem Gambling Support at Penn State

If gambling is becoming more than a game—affecting your academics, finances or relationships—you’re not alone and help is available. Our strength-based, confidential services are designed for students who want to reflect, make change, or simply explore their options.

Problem Gambling Support & Counseling

The Problem Gambling service is based on the Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) model. This 1-hour individual service will provide students with feedback from various screenings and an opportunity to explore harm reduction strategies for problem gambling. The session will be conducted by a professional staff member from Health Promotion and Wellness.
