Get Urgent Help

Search

Clinical services include same-day urgent medical care, preventive health visits, testing, immunizations, care for pre-existing conditions, and physical exams. If you require more specialized care, your clinician may refer you to a specialist in the local community for further evaluation and treatment.

Please Note: University Health Services provides clinic volunteer opportunities for students. Clinic volunteers are trained to help with patient intake (taking blood pressure, etc.) and receive privacy training. However, if you do not wish to have a student involved in your intake, simply alert our staff.

Care When You're Sick or Injured

University Health Services provides convenient, confidential, and compassionate care for routine illnesses, such as sore throats, and more serious problems, such as high fevers or acute asthma attacks.

If you have an ongoing medical problem, we urge you to make an appointment before you are sick so that you can establish a relationship with a clinician.

Physical Exams

University Health Services offers physical exams to students for annual health and wellness screenings, driver's license applications, pre-employment requirements, and other purposes. Physical exams are offered by appointment.

Sports Physicals

Physical exams are required for students participating in intercollegiate athletics. While this requirement does not include club sports, intramural sports, or other athletic activities, annual physical exams are recommended for all students.

Prior to your scheduled sports physical for intercollegiate athletics, please complete the Medical Clearance Form for Intercollegiate Athletics at University Park. Commonwealth campus students should contact their campus health representative for the appropriate form.

Preventive Care

You can reduce your risk of future health problems by learning about important health issues, making healthy lifestyle choices, and getting recommended immunizations. Visit our Women's Health and Men's Health pages for more information.
