Healthy Penn State Ambassadors

Healthy Penn State, a campaign led by Health Promotion and Wellness (HPW), promotes a holistic approach to well-being. Healthy Penn State encourages the development and maintenance of a sound body, mind, and spirit. Healthy Penn State ambassadors are a group of student volunteers who help promote the campaign as well as other wellness programs, services and resources at University Park.

- Training
-
The training will address health issues relevant to the college population and the resources available at University Park. In addition, the training will cover goals and expectations of an ambassador, and health topics including nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress.
- Time Commitment

Healthy Penn State ambassadors must be able to commit to at least one semester of service. The requirements include:

Attend the mandatory five-hour training

Attend weekly meetings

Volunteer for one to three hours per week by assisting with various HPW wellness initiatives
