Club Server Shutdown

You may have recently received notice that the Penn State Clubs Server (www.clubs.psu.edu) is going offline or have tried to access a site that was formerly on the Clubs Server and were redirected to this page. This page will provide additional information.

What is happening?

We are are shutting down the club server as of February 1, 2017. The server is no longer going to be in use because the university now offers more current technology through sites.psu.edu. The "sites" platform is currently in use by various other university communities, including student organizations. The university has also decided to suspend the use of the server because of the fact it requires considerable resources to support it when there aren't many organizations still using it.

How to get content off your old site?

Please follow these directions: Review the following ITS KB page. It can tell you how to access your club PASS space from the computer labs, through PASS Explorer, or via SFTP. To get data off of the server, it is recommended using the PASS Explorer method.

Once you highlight your organization, you can click the "Download" button to the left and then the entire contents of the club's folder will be downloaded as a Zip file.

Where do I put my site?
