About the Center for Arts and Crafts
The Center for Arts & Crafts offers a variety of non-credit adult art classes throughout the year and children's art camps during the summer. The Ceramics Studio offers classes in wheel-thrown pottery and hand-building techniques. Studio memberships are available during fall and spring semesters. All of our classes are taught by Penn State students majoring in art or art education, graduate students and professional artists.
The Center for Arts & Crafts (CFAC) was founded in the early 1970s. We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to offer quality programs and services that relate to the ever changing cultural, social, educational, and recreational needs of those we serve.
The administrative offices and classrooms are located in Ritenour Building, at the corner of Pollock and Shortlidge Roads. The CFAC also has a ceramics studio, located in the HUB-Robeson Center.
