Looking to Engage Students with the News?

Penn State faculty who require newspaper readership as part of their coursework can receive a daily subscription of that paper (WSJ not included) delivered to their office for free. In addition, participating faculty receive access to online classroom resources, case studies, and teaching support materials made available by The New York Times and USA TODAY.

If you wish to participate please send an email to and provide:

  • Contact information
  • Office address
  • A copy of the course syllabus stating how you plan to incorporate newspaper readership
