Penn State offers a variety of yoga and meditation experiences to help students, faculty, and staff build resilience, reduce stress, and reconnect with their well-being. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or trying mindfulness for the first time, these practices are accessible and welcoming to all.

Drop-in Yoga Classes

Join Campus Recreation’s certified instructors for weekly yoga classes that support physical fitness, mental clarity, and stress relief. Classes are open to all skill levels and include Vinyasa, Slow Flow, Power Yoga, and more.

Yoga Flow

Connect to your body and breath during this 1-hour class. Enjoy meditation in motion through a series of postures and wavelike movement in the spine. No experience needed. All experience levels are welcome. Mats are provided for up to 20 participants.

Feel free to bring your own mat. A limited amount of yoga supplies are provided and no experience is necessary. All are welcome!

Discover the Benefits of Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the practice of bringing your full attention to the present moment, helping you reduce stress and respond more intentionally to life’s challenges. By making mindfulness a regular habit, you can improve focus, emotional balance, and overall well-being—both in and out of the classroom.

Shinrin-Yoku, Forest Bathing

Forest Bathing offers an opportunity to experience nature through a slow, meditative walk through the woods. This research-based practice is led by a certified ANFT guide and is open to all who are interested. Space on these walks is limited to 15 participants and registration is required.

Refresh Fridays

Participate in this weekly series that promotes resiliency and relaxation through breathwork. Learn practical skills that will help transform the way you respond to stress. Registration is not required.

Well-being Wednesdays

Join us for Well-being Wednesdays in the Lobby of the IM Building for wellness activities and resources. Stop by the outreach tables, staffed by HealthWorks Peer Educators, to learn about ways to support your well-being.

Vibe Out x Mindful Making 

A collaborative mindful making program between Health Promotion and Wellness, Student Involvement, and the Center for Performing Arts. Each week, engage with different activities that highlight creativity, curiosity, and fun. Combine music with calming crafts to experience practical stress relieving techniques.
