Community & Belonging
Discover your community at Penn State.
Our goal is to create a culture where all students feel welcome and included so you can focus on learning, creating friendships, and growing personally.
Find Your Community
Penn State can feel like a large place, but there are many communities to help you connect and thrive. We offer many spaces where students with different racial and ethnic backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, religions, socioeconomic circumstances, and physical abilities come together to find support and community.
We're here to support you throughout your Penn State journey. Whether you are looking for academic or career-related resources, health and wellness support, assistance with basic needs, legal guidance, or something else, we have a resource or will connect you with a resource that can help.
There are a variety of ways to get involved in the many communities at Penn State. Look for events and programs on the Student Affairs Event Calendar, join a student organization, or connect with one of our many Student Affairs offices for opportunities around community building, mentoring, education, and more.
Find on Campus
Learn where on campus you can find resources, such as all-gender restrooms, meditation and reflection spaces, food pantries, dining options for special diets, ADA access, safe spaces, and more. You can use map.psu.edu to navigate to many of the resources on the list.
