University-Wide Career Fairs

University-wide career fairs are organized by a dedicated team housed in Career Services and are open to all students. Employers who attend these events are often looking for a variety of majors and experiences.

Bryce Jordan Center, University Park

One of the largest collegiate career fairs in the country, Fall Career Days brings hundreds of unique employers to University Park to meet with thousands of talents students. Three days of full-time and internship and co-op recruiting bring the world of work right to campus.

October 2026
HUB-Robeson Center, University Park

Graduate and Professional School Week provides students the chance to connect with advanced education programs from across the country to explore options for their next educational journey. Three distinct days connect students with law schools, medical and health-related programs, and general graduate studies opportunities.

Spring Career Days connects students looking for internship and full-time opportunities with national and international employers looking for their next hire. Students can network and explore career options across all industries.

The Earth, Environment, and Sustainability Career Fair provides students looking for opportunities within environmental science, sustainability, conservation, geosciences, geography, meteorology, and agriculture the chance to network and discover their next move.

Penn State has the talent and support you need to find the next generation of your workforce. Work with our staff in Career Services to create a comprehensive recruiting plan, from career fairs or events to mentorship and research partnership.

On-Campus Interviewing

Apply for openings and interview right in the heart of campus. On-Campus Interviewing allows students to apply to posted positions in Nittany Lion Careers and interview with companies who opt in at the Bank of America Career Services Building.

Every student has a Nittany Lion Careers profile created for you when you get to campus. 

Applying for Openings

Each employer sets a resume submission deadline prior to their arrival on campus. Deadlines are usually 20 days prior to the employer's scheduled interview date. No resumes for that posting will be accepted after the deadline.

Sharing your account or submitting resumes on behalf of others is strictly forbidden and will result is dismissal from the On-Campus Interviewing program.

What to Bring

  • Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled time.
  • Bring your Penn State ID to check-in for your interview.
  • Parking is not provided for students using On-Campus Interviewing.

Cancellations and No-Shows

If extenuating circumstances force you to cancel your interview you must decline through Nittany Lion Careers by the posting deadline. Do not only rely on a direct message to the recruiter as they often don't receive them in a timely manner. If the interview schedule is closed you will need to reach out to Career Services for guidelines on how to cancel.

Unprofessional behavior, including missing an interview without notifying employers or reneging on job offers, may result in the loss of Nittany Lion Careers access and privileges.

We know that a great suit or professional look can be a game changer. The Professional Attire Closet provides students at University Park with a free professional outfit to keep and use for networking events, career fairs, and professional needs.
