Style Guide
-
Accordions are used for larger bodies of text or when grouping content is beneficial.
-
Heading structure should be used within accordion bodies of text.
-
Accordions are not built to house other elements within the drop-down area. Embedded code or other elements will need to be addressed in a different way.
Alert Callout Feature
Alert callout features should be reserved for timely updates, alerts, or sharing emergency resources or information. These should be considered sparingly to maintain their impact.
- Text can be edited to include links within the body only.
- 184x184 px image can be added.
Link Group
Quotes call attention to speakers, phrases, or research that can be cited. These should not be used for general content emphasis.
Text Blocks (Heading 2)
Text blocks are the most commonly used content delivery method. These always follow appropriate heading structure; this is an example of the default paragraph style.
Never Bold Headings (Heading 3)
- Bulleted lists are great ways to delivery key points in a short and searchable way
Text With Image
The preferred way for Student Affairs to delivery content with a concise call to action link while providing a visual element. Layouts can be anchored to the left or the right and text is editable to include links and lists in the body.
- 800x800 px image is optional to add
Contact Blocks
Contact Blocks must be edited by Communications and Marketing. All blocks include the:
- 911 Address
- Office Hours
- General Contact Information
Additional block layouts allow for images, second columns, and buttons.
