Campus Community & Diversity

Discover your community at Penn State. Our goal is to create a culture where all students feel welcome and included so you can focus on learning, creating friendships, and growing personally.
Multicultural Resources & Programming
We support the many under-represented communities at Penn State with programs and services that encourage the appreciation of diverse perspectives, experiences, and cultures. The Paul Robeson Cultural Center is the hub of many of these programs in Student Affairs.
LGBTQ+ Community
Penn State has been repeatedly named among the top 25 schools in the nation by the Campus Pride Index. Learn how we work to foster an open, safer, and inclusive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and asexual students at Penn State.
Gender Equity on Campus
Everyone, no matter their gender, has the right to feel safe at Penn State. We provide support if you, or someone you know has been impacted by sexual violence, relationship violence, stalking, or harassment as well as ways to get involved and educate others on gender equity issues.
Religious/Spiritual Community
Penn State has students from many different backgrounds and faith traditions. We offer a welcoming environment for students to practice or explore these faiths in an open-minded setting while promoting appreciation and respect for religious and spiritual diversity.
Adult Learner & Veteran Community
We know our non-traditional students have some unique challenges. We have many resources to support you and ensure you have a great Penn State experience.
