From group fitness classes to personalized coaching and custom programs for your organization, our certified staff are here to help you move with purpose and find what feels good. 

Group Fitness

Join a wide variety of group fitness classes — including strength, cardio, mind/body, and cycling formats — led by certified instructors. Whether you’re into yoga, Zumba, or high-intensity training, there’s something for every fitness level and schedule.

Personal and Group Training

Work one-on-one or in small groups with nationally certified personal trainers who can help you set goals, stay motivated, and create a plan that works for you. Options include individual assessments, custom programs, and team-based sessions designed to support your fitness journey at every stage.

Custom Programs

Looking to build team spirit, wellness, or accountability within your group? Let us design a private group fitness class or training session just for you. Custom programs are ideal for student organizations, academic cohorts, residence halls, or campus departments.

Campus Rec on the Move

Access your favorite recreation facilities and activities on the go. Find facility hours, register for programs, modify registrations, and more using the Penn State CRec app. Even eliminate the need to carry your Penn State ID. Available in your app store, download and have all of Campus Rec ready to move with you.

Our student fitness instructors are passionate leaders who help the Penn State community get stronger, healthier, and more connected through movement. All instructors complete the 2-credit KINES 93: Master of Activity training course and earn a national fitness certification, gaining real-world skills in leadership, motivation, and wellness education.
