Campus Closure Information
Penn State Weather Closure
Most Student Affairs offices and facilities follow Penn State weather-related delays and closures. Registered events and programs are also canceled unless there are extenuating circumstances.
This page has department-specific information as a few areas remain open or offer modified services. If you need urgent help during a weather closure, please visit our Get Urgent Help page for resources.
Please note that if a weather closure happens mid-day, offices will remain open until they can notify everyone in the building and ensure everyone has safely exited the building.
All Campus Recreation facilities are closed (White Building, McCoy Natatorium, IM Building, Hepper Fitness Center). Virtual programs will continue as staff availability allows. Please confirm programs at pennstatecampusrec.org or through the Penn State Campus Recreation app.
