Athlete Reception

(New Event) Tuesday, September 16th | 6:30–8:00 PM | Smaller-scale event (< 80 attendees)

After a high-energy day at the Career Fair, keep the momentum going by joining us for an exclusive networking reception with Penn State Student-Athletes!

This is your chance to mix, mingle, and make meaningful connections with some of the university’s most driven and disciplined individuals. Whether you're looking to discuss internships, full-time/part-time job opportunities, or NIL partnerships, this event offers a more relaxed and engaging space to continue the conversation beyond the booths.

You'll get to interact with student athletes from a wide range of sports who are eager to learn more about your organization, your industry, and how they can bring their unique skill sets to your team.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with talent that knows what it means to lead, compete, and excel on and off the field.

We hope to see you there! Food and drinks will be provided.

Dialogue for Inclusive Workplaces

Dialogue for Inclusive Workplaces is an engaging and interactive workshop designed to bring together students and employer representatives for meaningful conversations about building inclusive, respectful, and thriving workplace cultures. Through small-group, values-driven discussions, participants will explore key topics such as:

  • Addressing subtle bias and fostering workplace respect
  • Navigating differences across generations and career stages
  • Promoting transparency and equity in pay and benefits

This event is open to all students and offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with employers who are committed to advancing equity and belonging in their organizations. Attendees will reflect on their own experiences and perspectives while gaining insight into real-world practices from company representatives.

The workshop concludes with a dedicated networking session, giving students the chance to connect one-on-one with participating employers in a welcoming and inclusive space.

Employers and students are invited to make professional connections at this inclusive networking event. Employers will have a high-top cocktail table where students can locate them and connect. Students will receive a map and employer recruiting information.  Throughout the venue, casual seating will be available for the most effective networking experience.  This event provides an excellent opportunity to engage students in building recruiting relationships

Engineering Impact Recruiting Event ($1250 per table)

September 16

6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Ballroom, Nittany Lion Inn

Employers - REGISTER HERE

The Engineering Impact Recruiting Event is intended to be a smaller and more accessible career fair. Employers are invited to share career information and opportunities with engineering students seeking internship, co-op, and full-time positions. All engineering students are welcome. Because this event is structured as a career fair, employers may bring a career fair display and other materials.  Students will receive a map and employer recruiting information.  This event is meant to provide a smaller environment (no more than 50 employers) as an enhancement to other events held that week.

Both of these events aim to prepare students and employers for success at the much larger Fall Career Days (see below) held at the Bryce Jordan Center on the University Park campus.  This event hosts hundreds of employers over multiple days (9/16-9/18).  Of primary interest to engineering employers are the Co-op and Internship Recruiting Day (9/17) and the Full-time Technical Recruiting Day (9/18).
