Plan your visit to campus and be sure to pass along the following information to team members attending Spring Career Days.

 

All essential logistics, including the parking map and codes, booth location, and other details, will be emailed to the address provided on the registration form approximately one week before the fair. Please ensure the email address you provide is actively monitored and add CareerFairs@psu.edu to your list of trusted senders to avoid missing important updates.

There are numerous local lodging accommodations in the area. We do not offer any special rates or discounts, however, there are many affordable options.

Parking

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS  (Parking Event Titles and Parking Codes to be announced)

  1. Visit psu.parkmobile.io 
  2. Select Location from the top menu -Daily Parking Reservations 
  3. Find and select your scheduled event date from the list of events or use the link that has been provided 
  4. Click “Filters & Access Codes” and enter your specific parking code to unlock available parking options. 
  5. Select a parking area for your visit – under List or on the Map 
  • To continue, login with an existing ParkMobile account, create a ParkMobile account or continue as a guest to reserve parking  
  • For customers with a vehicle 7’6” or taller, please select Lot a surface lot.   
  1. Enter all the required information to complete the reservation.  
  • In box 1, put in your email address.  Click save and continue. 
  • In box 2, put in the license plate, country, and state.  Click save and continue. 

    (The license plate information entered must match that of the vehicle parked on campus.) 

  • In box 5, click complete purchase. 
  1. You will receive an email to confirm your parking reservation. 
  2. Park at the designated parking area with your license plate facing the drive aisle. 
  3. Scan the QR code from your email if gate does not raise upon entry into parking garage.

  • From New York City - The suggested route is via the George Washington Bridge to I-80. In Pennsylvania, exit I- 80 at exit 161 (Bellefonte) and follow PA Route 220 south to State College. Take exit 74 for Innovation Park/Penn State University. 

  • From the Philadelphia - Take Philadelphia Schuylkill Expressway to the Pennsylvania Turnpike, leave the Turnpike at exit 247 (Harrisburg East), and follow I-283 to I-83 and proceed north on I-83 to the I-81 interchange. Then follow I-81 south to Route 322, 22 West exit. Proceed west on Route 322 through Lewistown to State College exit #74. 

  • From Pittsburgh - Follow Route 22 East to Duncansville, I-99/Route 220 North to Route 322 East to Mt. Nittany Expressway/State College exit #73,  
    OR  
    Follow Route 22 East beyond Duncansville to Water Street, Route 45 East to Pine Grove Mills and Route 26 North to State College. From the west, take I-80 to exit 123 (Woodland) just east of Clearfield, then US Route 322 east to State College, or exit I-80 at exit 161 (Bellefonte) and follow PA Route 220 south to State College. 

  • From the west - Take I-80 to Exit 20 (Woodland) just east of Clearfield, then US Route 322 east to State College; or follow I-80 east to Exit 161 (Old Exit 24) for Route 26 and Route 220 south to State College. Follow the expressway to Exit 74 for Penn State University. 

  • From Washington, DC - Take Route 270 to Frederick then Route 70 to Breezewood - PA turnpike (exit 12) - and go one exit West to Bedford (exit 11); Take I-99 north to Route 220 to Route 322 East to State College exit #74,  
    OR  
    Take I-95 or the Baltimore-Washington Parkway to Baltimore, west loop I-695 to I-83 north. Continue on I- 83 north to the I-81 interchange. Then follow I-81 south to Route 322, 22 exit. Proceed west on Route 322 to Lewistown and State College. 

 

Airline Information

The State College Regional Airport, located five miles from campus, is the closest to Penn State. 

Located 90 miles southeast of State College, Harrisburg International Airport offers an alternative arrival and departure location, with more than 350 flights weekly.  

Private or charter aircraft may fly into University Park Airport. Please call 814-865-5511 to make arrangements. 

 

Bus Information

Trailways and Greyhound Lines connections are available to and from State College. For reservations and information, call (814) 238-7971. 

Drop-off your colleagues, unload your materials, and enter the Bryce Jordan Center from the South Annex entrance.  

  • Please arrive between 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. 

  • Staff and volunteers will be available to assist you and move materials directly to your booth space. 

 

On Event Day

Review the following information to be best prepared for the week.

CHECK-IN

Visit check-in on Level 1 to get booth location, fair information, and interview instructions.

MAP OF THE BRYCE JORDAN CENTER

Find your booth using the Event Layout Map of the Bryce Jordan Center. (Map and Booth Location is also sent to the email address listed on the registration form within 1 week of the fair)

REFRESHMENTS

Breakfast items, snacks, coffee, and beverages are available throughout the day in the Employer Lounge (Level 1). 

Lunch is served from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Level 2.  

ATTIRE

Business professional or business casual is typical at Spring Career Days. We highly recommend comfortable shoes.
