Facility Reservation and Cancellation Process
Campus Recreation and has implemented a reservation system for:
- All facility area workouts at IM Building and Hepper Fitness Center
- Fitness classes
- Lanes at McCoy Natatoruim
- Indoor courts at the Tennis Center
Reservations allow Campus Recreation to uphold University capacity standards and keep our environment safe. All reservations “open” 48 hours before any workout session and remain open until capacity is reached. Capacity for each facility area is different, so check our Penn State CRec available app (iOS and Google) or our web browser for space availability. Click on the orange reserve your workout button – each area and the equipment available will be listed to help guide you.

How to Reserve and Cancel a Reservation
The following process will be followed for students that fail to utilize or cancel their reservations:
- First “No Show” = written warning
- All subsequent "No Shows" = two-week suspension from registering from Campus Recreation programs from the date of the “No Show”
Student demand for time is high, so we ask that should you not be able to make your reservation you cancel before the reservation. Cancelling ahead of time allows others to hop in your spot and keeps you free from accumulating “No Show” strikes.
