Vision Insurance

Individual, voluntary dental and vision insurance is available to interested undergraduate and graduate students.  The Dental Elect Plan, offered through Gallagher Student Health & Special Risk, allows students to select a provider from the Ameritas Classic Network and the policy has a yearly maximum benefit amount of $1,000. Students can choose a provider from the EyeMed network to use vision coverage. 

Visit the Gallagher website and choose Pennsylvania State University from the dropdown to learn more and enroll.

Rates are determined based on zip code so students should use their local campus address when enrolling to ensure enrollment in the correct plan. Upon completion of enrollment, you will be provided links to your ID card and a copy of your policy. Coverage starts the 1st day of the following month after you enroll. Automatic payment is required on the 20th of each month to maintain coverage. You can cancel at any time.
