What should I expect during my first visit?
Your physical therapy evaluation and treatments will be performed by a licensed Physical Therapist with the goal of facilitating recovery of function back to your desired level of activity. This evaluation will include a review of your medical history and your current problems. A physical therapist will conduct a thorough evaluation to assess your condition through movement assessment, strength testing and other means to best identify your individual needs.
Based on both your evaluation results and rehabilitation goals, a physical therapist will work with you to create an individualized treatment plan. Treatments may include exercise, manual therapy, and modalities as deemed appropriate.
Frequency of treatment ranges from one to three treatments per week. Treatment duration will be determined by both the response to therapy and your specific goals.
Fees
All fees will be applied to your insurance plan. Out of pocket fees will vary based on your coverage and the type of therapy ordered. Patients are responsible for all charges not covered by insurance. Your individual insurance plan and responsibility will be reviewed upon arrival for your first visit. You may also contact your insurance company ahead of time to verify your physical therapy benefits.
