Bio
Dr. Robert Orndorff is currently the Senior Director of Career Services for Penn State and an Affiliate Associate Professor in Counselor Education. Dr. Orndorff also serves as a training specialist, leading professional development seminars for Penn State faculty and staff. In addition to working in higher education, Dr. Orndorff is a career and interpersonal author and consultant in the education, business, and government sectors. Bob was the lead author of a Business book, The PITA Principle: How to work with and avoid becoming a Pain In The Ass. In the community, Bob is active as a little league coach and a thought-piece columnist on fathering for the Centre Daily Times.

Bio
Dr. Michael J. Pennington was appointed senior associate director of Career Services at Penn State, University Park, on July 1, 2024. Dr. Pennington is charged with leading a team of dedicated professionals who specialize in career counseling and event programming.
He comes to Penn State Career Services with 13 years of experience as a higher education administrator from a variety of institutions. Dr. Pennington worked as a director or executive director at three institutions where he interfaced with alumni and worked with annual giving and development officers to generate opportunities for student success and philanthropic giving.
Specifically, he held the following leadership and career services positions: Director, Relationship Development at Widener University; Executive Director, Experiential Learning & Career Services at Saint Elizabeth University; Director, Experiential Education & Pre-Law Advising Services at Villanova University; Assistant Director/Alumni Liaison, Career Services at Juniata College; and Job Developer/Career Counselor at Penn State Altoona.
Dr. Pennington was awarded the American Association of University Administrators (AAUA) 2024 Leo and Margaret Goodman-Malamuth Dissertation Award recognizing an outstanding doctoral dissertation in higher education.
