For parents and families of undergraduate students

Scheduled at the beginning of each semester, these events are designed to welcome you to campus, answer questions, and connect you to other parents of current Penn State students. 

Fall Welcome Events

Wednesday, August 21 – Saturday, August 24
Stop by one or both of our welcome locations to meet Parents Program staff and current Penn State parents, get answers to your questions, and pick up a pack of tissues for the trip home.

Bryce Jordan Center (inside, Gate B entrance)
• Wednesday: 9:00 am-4:00 pm
• Thursday-Friday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Saturday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Intersection of Pollock and Shortlidge Roads
• Wednesday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Thursday-Friday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
• This centrally located tent can help you locate places around campus and provide some light refreshments to get you through the day.

Stop by one of our locations to meet current University Park parents and Parents Program staff and pick up Penn State family items.
