Parents and Families Weekend
Celebrating Penn State traditions is sweeter when shared with family. Parents and families of University Park students are invited to enjoy Penn State traditions during Parents and Families Weekend.
While seeing your student is always the best part of the weekend, some events to look forward to include student performances, athletic competitions, special events hosted by academic colleges, and so much more.
- Events begin midday Friday and end on Sunday afternoon.
- Lodging fills quickly in the State College area, go to Visit Penn State or Happy Valley Adventure Bureau to explore options.

2024 Parents and Families Weekend
