Onsite Registration for Parents and Families Weekend
Pre-registration for Parents and Families Weekend is now closed. Onsite registration will be available after arriving to campus.

To register onsite, go to the Beaver Stadium Hospitality Tent or the Parents and Families Weekend Information Desk. Please park in the Stadium West or Jordan East parking lots.

Scan the round QR Code to access the event registration form. After completing the event registration form, guests will receive a confirmation email. After receiving the email, reserve your free parking using ParkMobile. Select the Stadium West or Jordan East parking lot. Then head to HUB-Robeson Center, Room 131 to check in.

Parents and Families Weekend

September 29-October 1, 2023

Celebrating Penn State traditions is sweeter when shared with family. Parents and families of University Park students are invited to enjoy Penn State traditions during Parents and Families Weekend.

While seeing your student is always the best part of the weekend, some events to look forward to include student performances, athletic competitions, special events hosted by academic colleges, and so much more.

  • Events begin midday Friday and end on Sunday afternoon.
  • Lodging fills quickly in the State College area, go to Visit Penn State or Happy Valley Adventure Bureau to explore options.
  • Registration for the weekend begins August 23 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
  • Some events require ticket purchase and/or additional registration. These events may sell out quickly.   
  • The event schedule will be posted prior to the registration date and will include details about events requiring ticket purchases.
  • We will communicate event details in the Parent & Family Experience emails. If you are not receiving these emails, please sign up here: 
  • Registration closes Thursday, September 21 at 6:00 p.m.


Check In

Registered Guests: If you registered on-line prior to Parents Weekend, go to room 131, HUB-Robeson Center to check-in and pick up your registration packet during the times noted below. The registration packet will include a Parents and Families Weekend schedule of events, a Penn State family lanyard and name badge, a Flat Lion, and a set of two drink coasters.

Non-registered Guests: Onsite registration will be available at the Parents and Families Weekend Information Desk at the HUB-Robeson Center, First Floor Main Lobby during the times below. Registration packets will be available while supplies last.

Lion’s Pantry Information Table and Drop-off Location

  • HUB-Robeson Center, First Floor Lobby
  • Drop off a non-perishable and unexpired food item or personal toiletry item to support The Lion’s Pantry.
