The Food and Housing Needs Survey aimed to gather feedback from students about their experiences regarding access to basic needs (e.g., food and housing) that are essential for them to have healthy and successful lives while at Penn State. Results will inform the ways that we improve in developing and providing the support, resources, and services for the health and well-being of students. Questions covered the following topics:

  • Food and housing security
    • Food and housing situations
    • Affordability and accessibility
  • Current life
    • Work
    • Financial resources/support
  • Impact of food and housing insecurity on the following:
    • Academic responsibilities
    • Health and well-being
