LGBTQ+ Discussion Groups

The purpose of the LGBTQ+ discussion groups is to provide a safer space for students to express their thoughts, perspectives, and opinions on issues, knowledge, and trends in the LGBTQ+ community. These groups offer students the opportunity to explore their identities and interests. Each group has its own set of broad discussion topics that challenge students to expand their knowledge and develop their identities relative to their place in the world.
Discussion groups are only open to Penn State students and take place in the Center unless otherwise noted.
Fall discussion groups will happen through Zoom. Links and meeting times will be provided soon!
Examples of past and present discussion groups include:
- Aces (asexual and aromantic)
- Beyond the Binary (gender identity)
- BiLions (bisexual, pansexual, fluid)
- Color Me Queer (students of color)
- WLW (women loving women)
