The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity provides many ways that students can find support during their time here at University Park.

Mentor Program

Our mentor program pairs mentors who identify as LGBTQ+ with another LGBTQ+ student at Penn State. Mentors provide one-on-one emotional support, assistance in setting goals and choosing a career path, and guidance through sexual and gender identity development.

Discussion Spaces

The purpose of the LGBTQ+ Discussion Spaces is to provide a safer space for students to express their thoughts, perspectives, and opinions on issues, knowledge, and trends in the LGBTQ+ community.

Queer Peers

Queer Peers aims to share information and resources, build community, and assist with students' transition to Penn State and University Park.

LGBTQ+ Scholarships and Awards

The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity offers multiple scholarships to Penn State students who are interested in and have shown a commitment to the Penn State LGBTQ+ community. Each scholarship has specific requirements for eligibility, including financial status, academic standing, and current and future involvement in the LGBTQ+ community on Penn State campuses.
