Queer Peers aims to share information and resources, build community, and assist with students' transition to Penn State, University Park. As first year, transfer, or change-of-campus students, participants can engage in various events, programs, and activities that will enhance their student experience, social networks, and will help them gain a better understanding of Penn State's resources as they relate to the LGBTQ+ community.

- New In Town (Beginning of Fall Semester)

A friendly welcome to University Park! Enjoy meeting other new to university park students while enjoying fun activities to learn more about your new peers. Enjoy light refreshments and wonderful conversations. Find out what the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity has to offer!
- New & Q (Mid Fall Semester)

Has the first semester at University Park been overwhelming? Do you want to reconnect with others in the community? Do you need a break from studies? Enjoy a relaxing evening with others who feel the same way. Create a college care package with snacks, teas, and school supplies for you and your friends.
