The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity hosts trips focused on engaging students in different facets of LGBTQ+ life and culture. Trips expose students to the wider LGBTQ+ community, as well as encourage personal growth, promote civic engagement, and enrich the lives of participants.
All trips will follow a pre-determined itinerary with no free time built in. It is the expectation of all attendees to adhere to the scheduled activities with full engagement.
All expenses including airfare, meals, lodging, and any entry fees will be included and paid for with funding from the Center's Excellence Fund. Applications should ONLY be made if there is a firm commitment on attendance.
This program is a limited capacity trip and an application review will determine participants. If, after application reviews, you are selected, you will be notified by email.
Penn State University Park students are able to attend one trip per semester. Applications for multiple trips may be submitted, but students must ultimately choose which trip to attend, if selected for multiple.
