Location

The Student Health Center is adjacent to the Eisenhower Parking Deck and the Bank of America Career Services Building off Bigler Road. The Pharmacy is located on the second floor (entry-level) of the Student Health Center.

Hours

  • Please note we are by appointment only. Schedule your appointment via myUHS.

The Student Health Center is closed on many major holidays and during University closures and breaks. If you are in need of care when University Health Services is closed, you may call the Advice Nurse at 814-865-4UHS (4847) (Press 3). A nurse is available 24/7. If it is an emergency, you should visit an Urgent Care Center or the Emergency Department at Mount Nittany Medical Center

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    • The Pharmacy opens at 7:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Handicapped Spaces

There are two handicapped parking spaces in the rear of the Student Health Center.

Short-Term & Pharmacy Parking 

Penn State retirees

Ask about our special Retiree Parking Pass for Penn State retirees. Retirees visiting the Pharmacy are required to display a University Health Services Pharmacy Parking Permit and have their vehicles’ four-way flashers operating.

There are 8 spaces located inside the Eisenhower Parking Deck and four spaces located in the Yellow F parking lot across the street from the Eisenhower Parking Deck that are reserved for retiree Pharmacy parking.

Faculty and staff

Faculty and staff may park in any regular faculty/staff parking space (including the Eisenhower Deck) for up to 15 minutes with the vehicle's four-way flashers operating and a current staff parking permit properly displayed.

Students

Students may park in the East Parking Deck, but if parking on weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. students must indicate to the entry kiosk attendant when attempting to park that they are visiting the Student Health Center. The fee for parking is $1 per hour.

Students may also utilize the pay station parking area located between the Eisenhower Parking Deck and Eisenhower Auditorium. Use of these spaces requires payment at the pay station and has a 30-minute time limit.
