HUB-Robeson Galleries
HUB-Robeson Galleries value the transformative power of art and artists. Led-by and for students, we activate the arts in order to address today’s complex questions and serve local and global communities. The gallery and exhibit spaces throughout the HUB-Robeson Center are free for all to visit and explore.
Center for Arts and Crafts
The Center for Arts and Crafts offers a variety of adult art classes, workshops, and take-home kits throughout the year as well as children's art camps during the summer. Classes and workshops include wheel-thrown pottery, painting, drawing, stained glass, dance, crochet, card making, embroidery and more. Classes are taught by Penn State students majoring in art or art education, graduate students, and professional artists.
The center also houses a Ceramics Studio offering classes in wheel-thrown pottery and hand-building techniques. Studio memberships are available during fall and spring semesters.
IllumiNATION
IllumiNATION is a new Center for the Performing Arts and Student Engagement Programs initiative that aims to create a unified Penn State community; full of responsible and inclusive citizens of the world by encouraging creativity, practicing sustainability, and providing a welcoming an inclusive environment for all with illuminated object workshops and parade.
Mindful Making
Mindful Making aims to use the arts and culture to promote mindfulness and community. These programs, designed in collaboration with Health Promotion and Wellness, Student Engagement Programs, and The Center for Performing Arts, are meant to give students the space and the permission to slow down and partake in some self-care. Visit the Health Promotion and Wellness Events & Programs page for dates and more information.
