The Association For Transgender Experience in Research (AFTER) works to promote transgender participation in research studies, particularly at Penn State. We will work to identify and encourage trans-centered research in order to combat ignorance-driven transphobia.

Ally House provides an open, safe, and inclusive living environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and ally students as well as others beyond the sexuality and gender binary. Ally House fosters a community dedicated to knowledge and understanding of sexuality and gender issues. Student programs and academic opportunities support these goals.

Gender and Sexual Diversity in Schreyer (GSDS) is an organization created to fit the needs of LGBTQIA+ Schreyer Scholars. The organization will compile resources, orchestrate outreach initiatives, and advocate on behalf of LGBTQIA+ Schreyer Honors College scholars to generate a safe space and foster cultural competency

The mission of the Lion PRIDE Caucus is to serve as the umbrella organization serving every gender and sexually diverse member, student, student organization, and student group on the University Park campus of the Pennsylvania State University. Lion PRIDE Caucus aims to provide a safe space and unified voice for the conceptualization, discussion, and execution of matters relevant to gender and sexual minority students including, but not limited to, the following: community organization, event coordination, information distribution, holistic education, and the continual construction of an increasingly open, inclusive community at Penn State University Park.

Opulence is Penn State’s Premiere Drag Ambassador club. Founded in 2017, our mission is to create a fun and free space for aspiring drag queens, kings, and enthusiasts alike, as well as enhancing an awareness to challenge the gender binary in a way that celebrates the social understanding and comprehension of gender norms.

OutLaw is a student organization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, et al (LGBTQ+) individuals and allies at The Pennsylvania State University (University) School of Law (Law School). OutLaw is dedicated to creating a safe space for all LGBTQ+ persons, and providing social, educational, professional, and philanthropic opportunities for Penn State Law's LGBTQ+ community. OutLaw strives to foster a dialogue with the larger campus community about the legal status of LGBTQ+ persons in society, the ways in which the law interacts with the lives of LGBTQ+ persons, and being LGBTQ+ in the legal profession.

Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (oSTEM) is a non-profit student organization geared to influence the academic and professional progress and development of LGBTQ students and youth in the field of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. In addition, we focus our efforts in educating, increasing, and retaining acceptance, tolerance, and enrollment in such professions.

As Smeal's LGBTQIA+ organization, OUT: Queer Business Leaders (QBL), builds well-rounded business professionals within a kind, welcoming community.  All are welcome to join this organization as we build community and better the one around us. We hold two types of meetings on a biweekly schedule. The first meeting of the month centers around impactful advocacy work. The second meeting of the month focuses on building members' skill set for success in the professional business world.
