Kelly A. Mroz earned her JD from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 1999 then joined the Erie firm of Elderkin, Martin, Kelly and Messina. In 2008 she co-founded The Family Law Group, LLC, a boutique family law firm where she maintained a traditional litigation practice while also providing mediation and collaborative law services.
She was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2008, 2011 and 2012. Active in both the state and local bar associations, Kelly served on the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates for over a decade and has chaired both the Young Lawyers and Family Law Committees of the Erie County Bar Association.
Kelly moved to the State College area in 2012. In addition to her role with Student Legal Services, she is an adjunct lecturer for the English Department and serves on the board of directors for Center for Alternatives in Community Justice. She continues to be an active member of the state and local bar associations, serving as co-chair of the Women's Law Committee for the Centre County Bar Association, and on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation.
Penn State is her undergraduate alma mater and she loves being a part of its vibrant university community again.Certifications/Credentials
