The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity provides many ways that students can get involved during their time here at University Park and across the Commonwealth.
The Straight Talks Peer Education Program consists of two peer education experiences: Student Voice Panels (formerly Straight Talks) and Student Ally workshops. Students have the opportunity to speak on panels and facilitate workshops.
Students can gain valuable experience and professional skills in one of the nation's top LGBTQ+ offices through our graduate assistantship and student staff programs.
The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity is committed to improving programming, expanding outreach, and involving all members of the LGBTQ+ community in the future development of the center and our work on campus.
There are numerous LGBTQ+ student-run organizations at Penn State.

The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity offers students an opportunity to learn more about various aspects of the LGBTQA community through an immersion experience.
Trips expose students to the history of the LGBTQA+ community, as well as encourage personal growth, promote civic engagement, and enrich the lives of participants.
You can get involved academically through courses offered through Biobehavioral Health or the Sexuality and Gender Studies minor.
