Getting Started
Penn State Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides a variety of services that we invite you to learn more about. This is how to get started.
Group Counseling
CAPS offers multiple therapy groups, drop-in support groups, and skills clinics. Learn more about how group therapy could be effective for you and how to join our current groups for the semester.
Individual and Couples Counseling
Among many services available, CAPS offers short-term counseling for individuals and couples.
Psychiatric Services
Psychiatric services are available for CAPS clients who may benefit from medication and have been referred to a psychiatric provider by a member of the CAPS staff. Students can also access psychiatric services in the community.
