For Fall 2020, the Center for Arts & Crafts will be offering a variety of in-person art classes and workshops, Take & Make projects, Art Activity Boxes, as well as Create at Home ideas!

Consider taking a class at the Center for Arts & Crafts (located in 3 Ritenour Building). A wide variety of art classes are offered, everything from wheel thrown pottery, painting, drawing, stained glass, and dance to a mix of fun workshops such as crocheted scarves, jewelry making, ceramic plate glazing, wood burning,  and more! Classes are offered during spring, summer, and fall semesters.

Participants are required to be a Penn State affiliate to register for adult art classes and workshops. This includes students, staff and faculty with a valid PSU ID.

Variety of Classes

The Center for Arts & Crafts offers a variety of non-credit adult art classes throughout the year and children's art camps during the summer.

Create at Home

During summer 2020, we released a few Create at Home art project catalogs! Check out some of those catalogs below: Learn about a few famous artists, styles and various techniques for inspiration to create art at home! Because we cannot all get together to share in art and creativity in person, here are activities we designed keeping in mind those art materials you may already have on hand or items you may be recycling. Go ahead and substitute any supplies based on what you have.

We would love to see what you create so please share your artwork with us! If you create any of the projects found in the Create at Home catalogs (or your own art) you can share images with us via craftcenter@psu.edu or on our Facebook page.
