Start your wellness journey with a trained health educator. Health Promotion and Wellness offers free wellness services for Penn State students. These services help you learn new skills to develop healthy behaviors while in college and beyond.

Topics include:

  • Got Sleep?
    • Sleep is a critical piece to your academic success and overall well-being. A trained peer educator will listen to your barriers to getting quality sleep. They will share evidence-based strategies with you to get a good nights rest.
  • Mind-Body Connection
    • Often times, we’re feeling stressed, but we’re not sure why we’re feeling stressed. Using mindfulness-based strategies, a trained peer educator will listen to your experience and help you find clarity in what you’re going through. They will then walk you through available campus resources and supports to help you feel not alone in your struggles.
  • Mission: Nutrition
    • Learn how to fuel your body well to support academic, social and physical well-being. Using basic nutrition concepts, trained peer educators will help you identify behaviors to meet nutrition guidelines.
  • Relationships 101
    • Relationships can be hard. Meet with a trained peer educator to learn components of a healthy relationship, increase knowledge about safe sexual health practices, and learn about free resources.
  • Stress Less
    • Learn healthy and effective ways to manage your stress. Decrease your overall stress levels by practicing evidence-based stress management techniques with a trained peer educator. They will help you develop a plan to tackle the demands of college life.

Wellness Sessions are offered in 102 HUB and 20 Intramural Building.
