Marketing your Organization or Event

Student Organization Printing Support offers several ways to market your organization or event, such as our poster/banner printing services as well as our Toilet Paper/Elevator Pitch and digital screen advertising

But there are many other ways you can promote your organization's events. While our office doesn't directly provide the services below we are happy to consult with you about your options.

OrgCentral/Event Calendar

List your event in event calendar in OrgCentral, the student org management platform. Also, keep in mind that adding photos and other information to your organization's page in OrgCentral can be really helpful in recruiting members.

Social Media

Tag Penn State Student Affairs on social media, @studentlifepsu, to share your event. If you tag Student Affairs on Instagram, your event may be included in our weekly event roundups on Mondays.

Poster/Banners on Campus

Reserve poster or banner space in the HUB or in other areas of campus through 25Live.

Flyers/Bulletin Boards

Print flyers through Multimedia & Print Center's Print Portal, located in the Hostetter Building on campus. You can hang flyers on public bulletin boards in the HUB or throughout campus.

Press Releases

Submit a press release to Penn State News at news@psu.edu for consideration. You may also want to submit a release to student-run media, such as the Daily Collegian, the Underground, or Onward State

Radio

You can contact the campus or local radio stations to air your event.

Residence Hall Marketing

You can submit your event for consideration in digital Stall Stories or on the digital screens in the Residence Halls.

Tabling

Student organizations can reserve a table in the HUB through 25Live to promote their organization or event. Student Organization Printing Support can provide posters to attract more attention to your table. Student organizations can also reserve a spot in the Engagement Space to talk about opportunities to join their club, volunteer, etc.
